Life in prison for former Texas attorney due to Child Sex Crimes. Guilty of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, Indecency with a Child by Contact and Indecency with a Child by Exposure.
64 Year Old Man
Life in prison for former Texas attorney due to child sex crimes, guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child by contact and indecency with a child by exposure, plead guilty on April 10, 2006. A 64 year old man, fled to Honduras while under community supervision for child sex crimes and was re-sentenced to life in prison following his return to North Texas.
Former Attorney Turned Criminal
The former Waxahachie, Texas attorney who fled the country in 2007 after pleading guilty to child sex crimes was re-sentenced in June this year to life in prison.
He plead guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child by contact and indecency with a child by exposure on April 10, 2006. He was granted community supervision, but fled to another country in May 2007.
Could Not Escape Extradition
U.S. Marshalls found him in Honduras in October of last year. He was arrested and extradited back to the United States.
Ellis County Judge Bob Carroll
Evidence was presented to Ellis County Judge Bob Carroll of the 64 year old man’s failure to abide by the supervision order. Following testimony from one of the victims and a grandfather of twin girls who the man also victimized, the judge revoked the previous punishment and re-sentenced him.
Perpetrator of the Crimes
The perpetrator of the crimes received maximum sentences on all three of his charges –– life in prison, 20 years and 10 years, which he must charge consecutively. it is reported he won’t be eligible for parole until serving a minimum of 45 years.
